COVID-19 Solidarity Stamps – Switzerland 2020.
Switzerland has issued one stamps under the theme of Solidarity during COVID-19 on 31 Mar 2020.
Swiss Post @swisspost has issued a semi-postal stamp to promote Solidarity during COVID 19 crisis. All proceeds from the sale of stamps will be shared by Swiss Solidarity and the Swiss Red Cross @src_digital.
The graphic design professionals of a Berne based studio working from home created the design.
The stamp symbolises solidarity during COVID 19 pandemic with Switzerland at the centre and rotated cross reveals a shinning globe.
The face value of a stamp is 100 cents with a surcharge of 500 cents. Printed in sheets of 10. By purchasing one sheet you donate 50 Francs and Swiss Post gives you stamps worth 10 Francs. At the time of writing this post, 340,445 Swiss Francs has been raised.
