Machu Picchu Antarctic Research Station -Peru 2020.

The Machu Picchu Antarctic Research Station is a Peruvian Polar Scientific Research Station in Antarctica established in 1989. It is one of the Northern most settlements on King George Island. It is doing research in Geology, Climatology and Biology. It is named after the famous World Heritage Site Machu Picchu. Peru released a 1.20 Sol miniature sheet on 17 Apr 2020 to mark 30th Anniversary of this station.
