European Football Championship
Initially planned for 2020 before being postponed due to COVID-19, the European Football Championship was played from 11 June to 11 July 2021. For the first time in its history, it was not organised by a single country, but took place right across Europe, in a dozen selected host cities. The Stadio Olimpico in Rome was the venue for the opening match, and the final was contested at Wembley, in London.
