World Coconut Day 02 Sep -Sri Lanka 2021.
World Coconut Day is celebrated every year on 02 Sep. Sri Lanka issued a miniature sheet containing 10 Stamps of Sri Lankan Rupees 15 each on 02 Sep 2021. according to FAO statistics Sri Lanka is the Fourth largest producer of Coconut in the World. In 2018 it produced 26,23,000 Tonnes of Coconut. there are three types of Coconut variety in Sri Lanka Tall , Dwarf and King Coconut. Indonesia, Phillippines and India are first three largest producers of Coconut in the World.
