Switzerland issued a set of stamps on Victorinox Swiss Officer’s Knife on 07 Sep 2006. This is a pocketknife popularly known as the  Army Knife a term coined by American Soldiers since World War II. It was first produced in 1891 and till 2005 was manufactured by Victorinox and Wenger. in 2005 Victorinox acquired Wenger.

130 ct stamp was issued on a modern Victorinox Swiss Officer’s Knife on 07 Sep 2006.

Germany issued a stamp of 45 euro cent denomination on 14 Jun 2007 to mark the 125 Birth Anniversary of Karl Valentin.

Karl Valentin (1882-1948) was a Bavarian comedian, clown, author and film producer. He had a significant influence on German Weimar Culture. Valentin starred in many silent films in the 1920s and was sometimes called “Charlie Chaplin of Germany”.

Bremerhaven Oberfeuer Lighthouse is located in Bremerhaven. It is also known as Simon Loschen Tower or  Loschen Lighthouse. It is the oldest operative lighthouse in Germany’s North Seashore. It is active from 1855 and stands at 37 m. A First Day Cover is listed.

Hohe Weg Lighthouse is located in Bremerhaven. It is the oldest fixed offshore lighthouse in German Bight. It is active from 1856. It stands on the Weser estuary in the Wadden Sea.  A First Day Cover is listed.
